Free Movement Pilates is offering a 4-week Outdoor Walking Class. This Core Walking Class is presented with Karly Decker, PT, and will allow participants to prevent injury, learn cues to find your most efficient alignment/posture during the walk, and find a core you never knew you had. Just remember PACE: Prevention, Alignment, Core, Efficiency.
The PACE Walking Program is inspired by MindBody foundational principles of Joseph Pilates and the ancient art of Tai Chi. These concepts including breathing awareness, joing alignment, coordination and controlled movement. The class is also inspired by the Automatic Core Engagement and CoreFirst strategies developed by the Institute of Physical Art which assist your body with automatically firing your core during functional movement - most functional task being : The Walk! Class is designed to bring increased mind body connection, awareness and breath to your daily walking routine.
