SBA Seeks Nomination for Annual Awards
SBA Syracuse-Upstate New York District Office Kicks Off Nominations for
2024 National Small Business Week Awards
Syracuse, NY – The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Syracuse-Upstate New York District Office has officially launched the call for nominations for the 2024 National and District Small Business Week Awards, including the annual Small Business Person of the Year Award. If you know a small business with exceptional innovation, growth, community engagement or resilience, put them in the spotlight by submitting a nomination. Don’t miss the opportunity to honor the entrepreneurial spirit that drives our economy forward.
This annual event aims to recognize the remarkable contributions of small businesses nationwide. Last year’s winners included businesses located in Albany, Syracuse, Central Square and Sherburne New York.
“During National Small Business Week, we will showcase and recognize some of the most successful and inspiring entrepreneurs in Upstate New York,” said Syracuse-Upstate New York District Director Dan Rickman. “We are asking local chambers of commerce, business associations, lenders and other small business groups for assistance in finding and nominating candidates for these awards.”

The Upstate New York District Office must receive all nominations by electronic submission ONLY to the District’s Box Account no later than 4:00 p.m. ET on December 7, 2023.
