Garden Bistro 24 Purchased 5 Vista Blvd in Slingerlands

The owners of Garden Bistro 24 are pleased to announce the purchase of 5 Vista Blvd, Slingerlands, NY from Columbia Property Development. This location is home to Garden Bistro 24 at Vista as well as Jai Yoga. Both retail sites will continue to operate as usual and the transition of ownership is planned to be seamless.
Going forward, Garden Bistro 24 plans to continue to invest in the property. Plans to develop an extensive, sustainable, non-GMO vegetable garden to the 1.5 acre parcel are on the horizon. “Our goal is to grow lettuces, arugula, and spinach, supplying both locations with enough of each to use exclusively with our popular salads. Additionally, we plan to grow a vast array of herbs, heirloom tomatoes, peppers, squash, flowers and other vegetables in order to supply the restaurants for about 4-5 months out of the year” said John Grizzaffi. In addition to this, Garden Bistro 24 continues their long-standing commitment to using local ingredients. Milk, Half and Half, and cream is sourced from Meadow Brook Farms. Garden Bistro 24 ice creams are also made exclusively with the cream from Meadowbrook Farms. Chicken is sourced from Campanelli Farms and all burgers are made exclusively with beef from Herondale Farm.
Garden Bistro 24 continues to be a casual restaurant with fresh food prepared daily without the use of a microwave. Their involvement in the Delmar Farmer’s Market and their food service operations at Thacher State Park continue to be headquartered from the Slingerlands location.
