Bethlehem Chamber Offers Workshop Series: Grow Yourself, Grow Your Business

BETHLEHEM – As you face the demands of your personal and professional life, do you feel selfish taking time for yourself? The truth is that when you are not at your best, neither is your work or your business. The day-to-day rigors of work (and home) can sometimes erode our energy and distract us from our personal best.

“We are excited to announce that Dr. Brian Bailey, a certified Canfield Success Principles Trainer, will be guiding participants in an exclusive series of workshop offered by the Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce,” said Chamber President Terri Egan. “He is also a member of the Chamber Board and superintendent of Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Central School District. Brian reminds us that ‘everyone searches for satisfaction and a sense of self-worth in their lives. Events happen, and it is our response to those events that help us navigate our way to a better future.’”

“Grow Yourself, Grown Your Business” will take place once a week, for five weeks, starting on April 9, at the Plug Power facility, 125 Vista Blvd., Slingerlands.

“We are fortunate to have Dr. Bailey available to offer this special and dynamic opportunity for our members and others in the business community,” said Egan. “With the challenges of doing business in the post pandemic era, finding and retaining employees, and making sure everyone is successful, we are in the need of new skills, new ways of thinking, and new ways of operating.”

These highly interactive and engaging sessions will include essential strategies for: understanding personal purpose; deciding what you want; establishing goals; taking action; and using feedback to improve your professional and personal life.

The sessions will be held on Tuesdays, April 9, 16, 23, 30, and May 14 from 5:30-6:30 pm. The cost is $75 for Bethlehem Chamber members; and $100 for non-members.  Registration can be made online at bit.ly/3ufXpu7, or by calling the Bethlehem Chamber at 518-439-0512.
