Bethlehem Grange Celebrates 150th with a Host of Activities

Are you looking for something to do?  Check out all of the Bethlehem Grange activities coming up between now and summer.  We have something for everyone!  Bethlehem Grange 137 is getting ready for our 150th Birthday in 2024, so help us plan and celebrate with our numerous activities. Mark your calendars.
 
Bethlehem Grange 137 will host the Mid-Winter Rummage Sales.  Many New or Gently used items are available. We have lots of housewares, kitchen items, linens, toys, puzzles, small kitchen appliances, small wooden furniture, records.  Lots of men's, ladies & children's clothing & shoes are available. Jewelry, decorative items, holiday items, dishes, glassware, pictures, mirrors, books, collectibles, craft items, yarn, fabric, antiques, pet items, and so much more.  You name it, you'll most likely find it here!! If you don't see it, please ask us!!  It's probably here!! No Tires, TV's, or Computers are available!  New Items will be added daily!!  There will be lots of indoor tables of items. 2 Handicap Accessible Ramps & Handicap Accessible Bathrooms. Cash or checks only accepted for payment.  No Credit or Debit Cards accepted!!
 
We're also looking for donations of plant cuttings for our May plant sale.  Please do not leave any plants outside, especially with this cold weather.  We'd really appreciate the plants soon, as we need time to root them and get them planted.   Plant cuttings can be dropped off, during our Mid-Winter Rummage Sale at

Bethlehem Grange 137.  Mid-Winter Rummage Sale Dates are Friday & Saturday, March 24 and 25.  All days are 9am to 4pm.
 
Saturday, April 1, is our Annual Chicken & Biscuit Take-Out Dinner, with dessert included. Please pre-order by Thursday March 30, by calling Carol Carpenter at 518-421-1384. Dinner includes 2 vegetables, green beans and carrots and dessert.  We're also handicap Accessible for easy pick-up of your dinners.  The Chicken & Biscuit Dinner is at Bethlehem Grange 137, at 24 Bridge St., Selkirk, NY 12158.
 
Thursday, May 4th we'll be hosting our take-out only BBQ Dinner at Bethlehem Grange.  More details to come.  Pre-order by Wednesday May 3rd, by calling Carol Carpenter at 518-421-1384
 
The Plant Sale/ Craft Fair/ Girl Scout Home Baked Sale is the Saturday May 20, 10-3pm at the hall.
 
Bethlehem Grange 137 also accepts recyclable bottles and cans in the donation box, behind the Grange Hall. Proceeds from the bottles and cans goes towards the maintenance of our Historic Grange Hall, which is also on the National Historic Registry. 
 
Clothing, including men's, ladies, and children's clothing, shoes, boots, purses, belts, linens, stuffed animals, curtains, etc., are also accepted in our Clothing Shed, open 24/7. 
 
We also collect non-perishable Food for the Food Pantry. Please call Jackie at 518-810-6031 to arrange your drop-off of your food donation, as we have no area protected from the elements.  We also accept used eye glasses and used hearing aids for the Lions Club. We also collect pull tabs from soda, beer, soup, seafood items and pet food, which are then donated to the Ronald McDonald House.
 
Bethlehem Grange 137 also accepts worn and tattered American Flags.  Flags can be dropped off 24/7 in our Flag Collection Box in the front of our Grange Hall.  We are also a chapter of Stars for our Troops. 
 
We'll also be looking for donations of plant cuttings for our May plant sale.  Please do not leave any plants outside, especially with this cold weather. After Sunday May 21, we'll begin to accept donations for our Annual June Garage Sales.
Bethlehem Grange 137 Garage Sale Dates are Friday & Saturday June 9 and 10, June 16 and 17, and June 23 and 2h.  All days are 9am to 3pm. 2 Handicap Accessible Ramps and 2 handicap accessible bathrooms.
