Adams Station Announces Installation of 11 ChargePoint Networked Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Stat

Adams Station is thrilled to announce that installation of 11 ChargePoint networked electric vehicle (EV) charging stations is complete! Conveniently located throughout the community, these stations are available immediately for resident use. Please read below for additional information.
 

• Charging will be FREE to Adams Station residents for the remainder of 2020! Please contact the leasing office to register for access.
• The charging station located at the Clubhouse is available for use by the public.
• With up to 25 miles of Range per Hour (RPH), universal J1772 connectors, 24/7 support, and a user-friendly mobile app, using these EV stations is easy! Click here to learn more from ChargePoint.
• Residents are reminded that all parking rules remain in place and that only EVs that are actively charging are permitted in designated spaces.
• Drive Green with National Grid is a great resource for those considering switching to an EV. Click here for information about local EV dealers, incentives, charging, and environmental impacts.
• EV purchasers may also be eligible for up to a $2,000 rebate (click here to learn more about this program from NYSERDA) and up to a $7,500 tax credit (click here to learn more about this program from the IRS).
• Beginning in 2021, we will be introducing low-introductory charging rates to continue promoting EV adoption throughout the community.
