ALBANY, NY – April 2, 2020 – In addition to providing child care services for families, A New England Nanny is now offering help to Capital Region residents who need assistance with picking up groceries, prescriptions, restaurant takeout, and more.

The Community Caregiver service seeks to help families, first responders, seniors, those with pre-existing medical conditions, or anyone else not able to leave their homes or visit public spaces during the coronavirus pandemic.

"It's a challenging time for everyone, so we looked for a way our agency could help the community beyond our child care services," said Melissa Schoonmaker, Director of A New England Nanny. "This service provides convenience while adhering to the social distancing that's so important right now."

This is a no-contact service - exchanges of payment and delivery of items are done without physical contact between the caregiver and the person using the service.

The service can be scheduled by contacting the agency during normal business hours.
