On November 15, 2019 Community Caregivers, Inc., a non-profit based in Guilderland, received a $1,500 Leadership Award from State Employees Federal Credit Union (SEFCU). According to Kathy Lanni, Chief Community Officer, SEFCU recognizes Community Caregivers for the “important work” they do to “improve our communities and change lives every day.” The funding is provided through SEFCU’s Community Support Program which has helped over seven million people across the state by assisting vital non-profits.

“SEFCU is a fantastic community partner and we at Community Caregivers are privileged to work with them toward our common goals. Their generous support of our efforts will be paid forward in support of our clients. We are enormously grateful and honored to receive this award as we commit to continuing to provide these critically needed services,” said Edna Mae Reilly, current board member of Community Caregivers and a past president.
