The Better Business Bureau of Upstate New York can help non-profits distinguish themselves by getting their free voluntary review.
The BBB's mission is to be the leader in advancing marketplace trust that includes non-profits as well as commercial businesses. The BBB's Charity Review benefits include:
  • A report listed on bbb.org
  • Opportunity to license BBB Accredited Charity seal for marketing purposes
  • An invitation to apply for the annual BBB Torch Awards for Ethics
  • Potential promotions of events through upcoming e-newsletter and social media accounts
  • Full transparency of financial information for donors to build trust and lead to donations.
To set up a consultation to review the process and see if the organization qualifies, and get the "ducks in a row" contact Bret Dewhurst at charity@upstatenybbb.org or 518-415-9123. Tell them the Bethlehem Chamber sent you.
