Free Movement Pilates Welcomes Back Jennifer Olszowy

Free Movement Pilates is excited to welcome Jennifer Olszowy back to the studio!  Jenn will be offering a Jumpboard Reformer Class, Discounted Private Sessions and a Pilates for Golfers Workshop.
 
Jenn is a comprehensive Balanced Body certified Pilates instructor based in Buffalo, NY at Long + Lean Pilates.  She has been teaching since 2015 and has recently graduated from the University of Buffalo with her Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science with a concentration in Health and Wellness. While studying at UB, she completed her thesis on Pilates for individuals with Scoliosis.
 
Jenn is CPR and first aid certified and has studied biomechanics through Katy Bowman. Jenn is currently pursuing a doctorate in Physical Therapy at D'Youville College, graduated this past May. She hopes to use her exercise science background, physical therapy, and a passion for Pilates to help individuals overcome injuries and feel their best.
 
No matter your ability or experience level, Jenn can create a class to fit your individual needs while maintaining an invigorating, challenging and enlightening workout.
 
Jenn will be offering a Pilates Cardio Reformer w/ Jumpboard class at 9:00am Thursdays, August 8th, 15th and 22nd.  The jumpboard allows you to spring off your feet while lying on the Reformer, creating a fun cardio workout that's easy on your joints. The high repetition, high intensity class incorporates jumping throughout an intermediate/advanced Pilates Reformer workout.  This class is not recommended for beginners or those with acute injuries.
 
She is also available for discounted private Pilates sessions by appointment Monday through Thursday.  The regular cost is $70-$80, but will be available for $60.  Please contact Jenn directly at 518.312.3081 to schedule your discounted private.
 
On Wednesday, August 21, Jenn is offering a Pilates for Golfers Workshop.   The golf swing is a complex movement that requires many different components including postural control, balance/coordination, flexibility, stability, and muscular strength/power. This 90 minute mat Pilates workshop will be helpful if you are looking to improve your golf swing, gain a few extra yards on your swing or simply learn Pilates exercises and principles to decrease that back or shoulder pain during your swing. She will take you through a guided sheet with tests and tips to teach you which areas you individually need to focus on, followed by a Pilates mat class structured around the five main movements of the golf swing. Please bring a golf club if you can (or really anything that resembles a golf club, a broom, a stick that is shoulder width, etc.).  The class will be 6:30 – 8:00pm and registration is $30.  Reserve your spot by clicking here and using the MINDBODY Scheduler.
