Explore a Universe of Stories with us during the 2019 Summer Reading Challenge. This year, things blast off with an afternoon of all-ages events Wednesday June 26. At 4pm, balloon artist Daryl Baldwin will start creating whimsical sculptures while guests rub elbows with the one-and-only Llama Llama! Enjoy a read-in at 4:30pm and get a jump on your Summer Reading goals. Things start rocking on The Green at 7pm with The Wheel, a six-piece band covering mostly Grateful Dead tunes. Concert moves inside if it rains. Summer Reading sign-up begins June 26, and you can get started checking off your reading milestones right away. Adults, teens and children can sign up in person or online at www.bethlehempubliclibrary.org. All summer long, we’ll be hosting programs that are out of this world, and our bookmark design contest is sure to inspire your inner artist.
